Snow Clearing Operations:
- Green Lawn Inc. provides the service of snow and ice removal from our streets and Heaven's Glory Contractors clears snow from driveways and walkways. Green Lawn subscribes to a weather service to obtain real time information regarding the accumulation of snowfall for Overland Park. This information is used as the basis of the snow fall amount in Willowbrook. The decision regarding when to request Green Lawn or Heaven's Glory to activate snow clearing operations is a judgment call which takes into consideration such factors as time of day, current conditions and weather forecast.
- If a resident has a question or problem concerning snow clearing, please contact the Grounds & Lawns Committee Chairperson. Committee members and the Board of Directors are the only delegated Willowbrook points of contact with Green Lawn and Heaven's Glory.
Street Services:
- Green Lawn plows our streets when snow accumulation makes driving conditions hazardous.
- Green Lawn salts our streets when snow and/or ice accumulation makes driving conditions hazardous.
- Vehicles may not park on the streets during Green Lawn snow clearing operations.
Homeowner Services:
- Generally, Heaven's Glory will clear driveways/walkways when snow accumulation is three inches or more.
- When a snow event occurs, a Lawns & Grounds committee member or HOA board representative will call Heaven's Glory to determine whether to initiate snow clearing services for driveways/walkways. Heaven's Glory’s estimated time to commence snow clearing is normally 4-6 hours after snowfall has ceased.
- Heaven's Glory does not salt or remove ice from homeowners’ driveways/walkways.
- Heaven's Glory will not clear driveways with a vehicle parked on it.
